Hi I’m Natasha, I founded T’s Face Painting in March 2015 after catching the bug for face painting following a trip to Butlins for a Music Weekend. The girls I went with wanted to have rave like UV face paint designs which I gladly took responsibility for. I’ve always been a very creative person, drawing, painting and creating odd bits growing up so thought it should be easy enough.
After a good amount of hours practicing the rave designs and getting no where with the cheap UV paint I’d bought from ebay; I was close to giving up when I came across a community of face painters on Facebook. They gave me so much great advice and told me that I would never get what I wanted from the cheap paints so pointed me in the right direction.
After purchasing some quality paints and brushes I soon got to grips with the basics and tried my hand at other types of designs. Before I knew it my love for face painting had launched which inspired me to start my own business.
Over the years I have tried my hand at being my own boss but nothing really took off until now. T’s Face Painting is still a very young business but I love it and that’s what matters to me. It’s so refreshing and rewarding to see a happy, smiling face leave my chair time after time, nothing makes me happier.
Currently I am only able to take bookings for T’s Face Painting on weekends and bank holidays due to having a full-time job as a web designer and developer (told you I was creative) for a fantastic company called Time-lapse Systems (yes I designed and built the website). I graduated from Staffordshire University in 2011 with a 2:1 (HONS) BSc Computing Science degree which I am extremely proud of and want to make use of. It’s amazing how many people are surprised when I tell them I have a degree in Computing Science while I’m painting, it just shows you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover.
Now you know a bit more about me, I hope you will consider me for your next party or event.
